After a brief hiatus to direct our collective attention to all things holiday gifting, we’re returning to our weekly Launch Digest. It’s good to be back.
While we’ve included most holiday-specific launches and limited-edition drops in our Joy Of Gifting coverage, the DTC cycle hasn’t stopped producing evergreen new items that you absolutely need to know about. Read on for the latest.
Vacation, the sunscreen brand that made waves in the DTC world (and our TQE Slack) with its perfectly nostalgic branding, just launched the Home Resort Candle Set, a collection of three candles designed in partnership with ARQUISTE Parfumeur. Engineered to turn your home into a luxury resort, each candle’s name says it all: High Ceiling Resort Lobby (flowers, magazines, ocean breeze), Well-Tipped Pool Boy (coconut sunscreen, cologne), and Partial Ocean View Suite (white linen, island air). While I haven’t gotten to smell these myself, the descriptions are pretty tantalizing. I’m flirting with an add-to-cart while dreaming of the luxury resorts these candles allude to.
Oatly Takes Over My Fridge, Freezer, And Life, $5.99 per 3-pack
Oatly just launched your (and my) next obsession: vegan oat milk chocolate ice cream bars oh my god that sounds too good to be true. (The second half is not the official name of the product, just my reaction.) Imagine this…oat milk ice cream goodness, coated in a chocolate shell. Rolling out at your local grocery store in the next few weeks, “Oatly on a Stick” is available in four classic flavors: Chocolate Fudge, Strawberry Swirl, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla. It’ll be your go-to holiday (and definitely year-round) dessert that makes hosting easy, whether it’s pleasing a big dinner party or a house guest who’s overstayed their welcome.
Audwell, the genius inventors of our favorite Oslo Tower, introduced the new Goldie Chair on December 8. Designed for that age when a normal chair is too big, but a high chair is a thing of the past, the Goldie Chair is an enduring staple as your babies grow from toddlers to kids. Made from American maple, it blends beautifully into any decor, and encourages your child to take a seat at the table (literally). Even more music to every parent’s ears: it’s rigorously safety-tested, built to last, and ready after a simple five-piece assembly.
Everyday Humans has teamed up with @coffeebae97 to launch the Coffee Lover Set, a limited-edition bundle created in collaboration with TikTok’s favorite coffee connoisseur. Featuring Everyday Human’s new “Big Mood” SPF30 oat milk lip balm, the set also includes the TikToker’s “Bae World” Lovers Roast coffee beans and self-care prompt cards. This partnership makes me feel really old and confused about TikTok, but it does look very fun – and perhaps makes the ideal gift for the Gen-Z in your life whose interests you don’t quite understand.
It’s no secret we love Pepper, the bra company that built its adoring following by making exceptionally fitted bras for women with smaller boobs here at TQE. In the last few weeks, Pepper debuted two underwear collections – the “Mesh All You” and “Seamless” Underwear – designed with comfort, style, and that barely-there feel in mind. Pepper’s been busy; the brand also launched the MVP Multiway Strapless Bra ($60) last week. Made with uniquely developed cups that lift and don’t gap, a wide band that stays up (and in place), and convertible straps for all of your holiday dress needs, the MVP bra sold out during its presale in less than 36 hours. Don’t miss your chance to snag one now that it’s fully launched.
I’ll be back next week with a new set of launches in the DTC universe. Email me directly -- email@example.com -- with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
