Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe. This week: an easy-bake oven for grown ups, a candle that’ll make your living room smell like a New York bakery, and canned rosé for summer picnics with a zero percent chance of rain – or hangover. Let’s talk.
Our Place Fulfills Your Childhood Wants – And Adult Needs, $195
Our Place, the brand that’s been making modern cookware essentials at the intersection of functionality and innovation for years now, just launched its newest piece de resistance: The Wonder Oven ($195). Yes, it’s as magical as it sounds. The 6-in-1 tool is fit to air fry, bake, roast, toast, reheat, and broil (translation: perhaps it’s time to kick your oh-so-2021 air fryer to the Facebook Marketplace curb). It also preheats and cooks faster than traditional ovens, and somehow fits on your countertop with plenty of room to spare. If you’re not sure what you might do with this new device – or are overwhelmed by the possibilities – don’t worry, Our Place thought of that, too. Maybe a Gochujang Salmon, or a Whole Roasted Chicken? In a matter of fifteen minutes, prep-time included? This might be better than the one you played house with at age six, and it certainly can do a little more than prepare a pretend pop-tart.

Boy Smells Takes A Trip To Magnolia Bakery, And A Candle Is Born, $48
Many people are obsessed with Magnolia Bakery’s legendary pudding – Boy Smells’ founder Matthew Herman included. While a collaboration between the LA-based candle brand and the iconic New York bakery might not otherwise make sense, love can make a man do crazy things. The result? An intoxicating candle laced with banana, vanilla, cardamom spice, and undertones of leather and resin that says you can have your cake and burn it, too. Try to remember that the candle itself is not edible.
Eyes On: Dal The Label, All Summer Long
Lately, I’ve found myself extraordinarily compelled by linen. Linens for summer – earth-shattering, I know. There is something undeniably chic about a crisp linen dress, shirt, or a generally monochromatic, mono-fabric fit. Dal the Label understands this deeply. Ethically produced in Los Angeles, Dal works solely with sustainable materials; each piece is cut and draped from a single piece of fabric, creating sleek, unfussy silhouettes. The brand just launched a few of its most-loved pieces in a new Oat colorway – ideal for days spent lounging in verdant fields and browsing the farmer’s market, no?
Collaborations Are All The Rage
It’s amazing how many collaborations we’re looking at this week – enough to constitute an entire sub-section.
Basically, Brightland doesn’t rest: merely a week after the launch of its bright and beautiful TRELLIS Red Wine Vinegar, the brand has partnered with A Dozen Cousins to create a Honey Jerk Seasoning Sauce ($24.99 per case), mixing Jamaican Jerk Seasoning with Brightland’s citrus-forward California Orange Blossom Honey. (It's a limited edition situation, so stock-up now.)
The best popcorn ever teams up with the best dried fruit ever to…send you straight to snack paradise. Lesser Evil and Rind launched an organic Piña Colada Popcorn, and I need it in my beach bag like, yesterday.
Le Puzz posits that puzzles can be for more than just cold wintry days. What better way to make a point than collaborating with mega-hot sunscreen brand Vacation? Puzzle, solved ($38).

A Few Last Drinkable, Clickable, Sprinkle-able Things…
Proxies launched a canned sparkling Rosé – with all of the fun summer feel, and none of the alcohol. Tache is having a summer sale, because who doesn’t need a six-pack of pistachio milk for a sexy summer? (This is not a sarcastic question. I am shopping this sale – use the code SUMMERVACAY for 20% off.) Material Kitchen dropped a beautiful wooden Salt Sphere, for storing everything from salt (duh) to spice blends, sugars, chili flakes, or even dried nuts and candies right where you want them – within arm’s reach.
Happy shopping. Email me directly – zoe@thequalityedit.com – with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
