I have a bit of a history with MeUndies. They were the first underwear I ever ‘invested’ in (rather than a Target six-pack) when I was in college, and – funnily enough – the first brand I ever reviewed for The Quality Edit six years ago. While so many of the other brands I shopped at those times are either irrelevant or defunct, MeUndies still sells out regularly. And I am still one of their many millions of customers.
Few brands have staying power like MeUndies. So, in celebration of 15 years (!!) of great garments, I’m reflecting on the reasons I keep coming back, year after year.
They’re Softer Than Soft
I’m big into lounging – I have an entire robe collection – so I know a thing about butter-soft fabrics. I’ve tried many brands that claim to be as soft as butter, but no one does it quite like MeUndies. Their signature UltraModal fabric is made from sustainably sourced beechwood trees, and it's so lightweight and breathable that I genuinely forget I’m even wearing it.
Nearly a decade after buying my first pair, it’s still the benchmark I compare every other underwear brand against. I've tried plenty of other popular underwear brands over the years, but MeUndies remains the brand I reach for first after laundry day – whether I’m going to the gym or going to bed.
Fits Like a Dream

What I appreciate most about MeUndies is that they’ve fit into every iteration of my life (when I was a busy student, my half marathon era, a transition to the working world, and even a few weeks-long vacations). No matter where I wear them, they don't ride up, bunch, stretch out, or lose their shape halfway through the day.
The four-way stretch moves with you, the fabric stays put, and the fit feels consistent wash after wash. If you’ve never had underwear trauma (sagging in your leggings, itching in an important meeting) consider yourself lucky. And if you have, I’m really sorry. You should switch to MeUndies.
There’s Always Something New

This is probably the biggest reason MeUndies doesn’t feel like a 15-year-old brand. While plenty of underwear companies launch a few basics and leave them largely unchanged, MeUndies has spent the past decade and a half constantly expanding the lineup. The brand is always introducing new prints, silhouettes, fabrics, and collections, giving customers a reason to come back beyond simply replacing what they already own.
Over the years, I've watched the assortment expand well beyond the pairs I first bought in college. Today, you can find everything from classic neutrals to playful limited-edition prints, plus newer materials and styles, bralettes, PJs, loungewear, and more. For adults and kids.
Comfort You Can Feel Good About

The world has changed a lot since I bought my first pair – so have I. These days, I pay a lot more attention to how products are made. That's another way the brand was ahead of its time: its signature fabric is derived from renewable beechwood trees and uses significantly less water than conventional modal production. Combined with durable construction that holds up over time, it's a thoughtful approach to everyday essentials. No underwear purchase is going to save the planet, but it's nice knowing the pairs I wear on repeat were designed with a lighter footprint in mind.
I have genuinely loved this underwear for years and can attest to the fact that it holds up long enough for hundreds of wears. On top of that, MeUndies has managed to do something very few brands accomplish: it has stayed relevant without abandoning what made people love it in the first place.
I’m sure you’ve heard how great they are at some point over the past decade – and if you’ve ever felt curious if they can really be that good, take it from me: they’re even better.
