Emily in Paris is a specific kind of drug. Settle in for one episode on a Sunday morning and the next thing you know, you’ve spent 6 hours watching Lily Collins traipsing around Paris and have inexplicably filled a cart on The Real Real with Vivienne Westwood sets in colors you have no business trying to pull off. Season 4 of Netflix’s hit show brought back many familiar faces, but the fashion was anything but same-same. This season featured a ton of cinematic and historical references, from nods to Truman Capote’s infamous Black and White Ball to Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady and Roman Holiday.
Everything is relative in a world where 6 inch heels are everyday office wear, but by Emily in Paris standards, Emily Cooper’s wardrobe has got a lot more grown up – and more wearable. In this case, grown-up definitely doesn’t mean boring. Season 4’s looks were full of polka dots and little hats and primary colors. But as Emily settles into her life in Europe, she’s definitely learned to embrace a slightly more laid back, comfortable style. She even wears flats.
So, to celebrate the launch of Emily in Paris Season 4 Pt 2, here is our essential guide to shopping fashion’s favorite show:

The first sign that Emily Cooper was all grown up was this cobalt blue suit at the start of Season 4. We love how she’s paired it with an edgy boot. This Argent blazer could be paired with matching trousers or worn as a separate.

One of the most talked about trends on this season of the show was Emily’s penchant for stripes. We love this cinched Simon Miller shirt, with a back tie that lets you dial in a flattering snatched waist.

Emily’s most subdued (and chic) outfit this season was a gorgeous chocolate suit set. This perfect Missoni blazer is currently on mega sale at Yoox – run don’t walk. We also love how they paired the subtle blazer with a fun pair of statement hoops. Quince makes hoops in a variety of sizes so you can find the perfect pair.

Thankfully, while Emily has started to tone down her fits, Mindy is still absolutely on one. We’re going to be copying this bright blue fluffy hat as our go-to accessory this winter. Ganni makes a gorgeous Y2K throwback faux fur hat from recycled materials that we’ve been coveting.

Camille’s looks were all extremely on trend in Season 4, including this mini skirt tights combo. Our favorite tights in the world are from Falke – they last forever compared to cheaper tights, and are well worth the investment. Third Form makes the perfect little black mini skirt to pair with them.

Now, spoilers ahead, but the end of Season 4 features a pretty dramatic twist when Emily leaves Paris for Rome. Lily Collins is an Audrey Hepburn lookalike, so it makes sense that they’d take cues from Hepburn’s iconic film Roman Holiday for the show’s Italian leg.

The most exciting thing about this look to us is that Emily is finally in flats. Her sky high Parisian heels would have been toast in Rome’s uneven cobblestone streets, so we are grateful that she’s traded in her platforms for some practical but still very cute Mary Janes. Margaux’s classic flats are comfortable, chic, and durable enough to clock in some serious mileage.

Our other favorite part of Emily’s retro glam look is her little neck scarf – so Audrey. J. Crew is our go-to for affordable but elegant scarves of all kinds. This silk neck scarf would look so cute paired with a femme skirt/button down combo like Emily wears above.
