After a long wait, Euphoria is finally back for its third and final season. To be honest, it had been so long since the second season aired that we had no idea what was going on when the season 3 pilot started. While we may not have remembered Euphoria’s plot, there’s one thing we’d never forget: Euphoria’s fits. From Jules’s iconic e-girl looks to Maddy’s mean girl matching sets, Euphoria’s costumes reflected and defined a new generation’s approach to fashion.
Longtime Euphoria costume designer Heidi Bivens has been replaced for season 3 by Natasha Newman-Thomas, who has some major shoes to fill. Based on the pilot, she’s picking up right where Bivens left off, creating a sharply defined aesthetic for each of the main cast. Now that our once-wayward teens are all grown up (sort of), it’ll be intriguing to see how their clothes evolve to suit their new personas as they navigate the adult world.

Main Character Dressing

Right off the bat, the show asks us to suspend a little disbelief. While working as a drug mule, Rue (Zendaya) is apparently spending hundreds on this Saint Michael Angel Hoodie ($459). Verisamilitude was never the point of Euphoria (remember Lexi’s Miu Miu dresses?), so we’ll give it a pass. We love the way her silver rings elevate her oversized hoodie. The Kinn Studio Petite Hera Ring Stack in Silver ($320) has a similarly chunky vibe. And while we’re not ready to endorse Rue’s cargo shorts, we’re all in on long shorts this spring at TQE. One of our editors recently bought a pair of Gap 11" Mid Rise Longline Denim Shorts ($55) that the rest of us have been coveting ever since.

Elordi The “Everyman”

Speaking of suspending disbelief, the buzziest look from Season 3 so far is definitely the Bottega Veneta Plaid Leather Shirt ($6,800) that Nate (Jacob Elordi) wears around his struggling construction site. If you aren’t trapped in a (apparently iron clad) contract with Bottega like Elordi, feel free to pick up the Kotn Oversized Flannel ($88) for a fraction of the price. Bottega also provided all Elordi’s leather accessories, including a very beautiful woven belt. This very reasonably priced Massimo Dutti Braided Napa Leather Belt ($90) is a great dupe.

Desperate Housewife

While Nate toils away in the Bottega leather shirt factory, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) is up to no good at home. When she’s not in fetishwear, she’s lounging around planning her dream wedding florals in the Agent Provocateur Guilia Short Kimono ($840). The peachy colorway she wears is sold out, but it’s still available in ivory. Her flawless red mani reminded us of the Glamnetic Short Almond Press Ons in Red Flag ($18). And if you’re not ready to shell out $50,000 for wedding florals but want some luxe greenery around the house, The Bouqs Co. Grand Flower Subscription ($74) will deliver flowers to your door every month.
Working Girls

The best looks of the season thus far came from the show’s two Hollywood working girls, Lexi (Maude Apatow) and Maddy (Alexa Demie). Maddy cosplays a girl boss on set in a gorgeous sheer Karl Largerfeld Organza Blouse ($541) (before going back to the office to answer her boss’s phone). We love how she’s paired it with a simple black bra, like this Journelle Iris Low Balconette Bra ($175). And no Maddy style guide would be complete without an elite lip combo: this Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Foxy Brown ($28) is a great dupe for her signature brown lip liner.

As always, Euphoria is full of great vintage finds. Lexi (Maude Apatow)’s buttoned-up style has always had a retro-chic streak, so it makes sense that she’d be wearing this vintage Nik Nik Brown Button Up ($200). Fun fact: ‘70s maximalist icons Nik-Nik were responsible for some of John Travolta’s disco looks in Saturday Night Fever. Their shirts are pretty easy to find secondhand on eBay and Etsy, but if you’re looking for something a little more contemporary, the Reformation Eli Oversized Shirt in Sheer Brown ($148) has a more subtle collar that doesn’t immediately scream “disco fever.” Another essential in Lexi’s working girl wardrobe: a great hairclaw. We can attest firsthand to the need for one of these on set. The Kitsch Large Tort Flat Cloud Clip ($7) is perfect for a rushed messy bun on the way to work, plus its flat profile makes it easier to wear in mat classes or in bed.
