It is already the end of October. If you’re in need of a fright this Halloween season, consider contemplating the passage of time. And with another week comes a shocking number of new launches. Sit back, relax, and indulge in some digital window-shopping -- whether you’re looking for aromatherapy, the champagne of kombuchas, or an app to make parenting a little easier, something is bound to catch your eye (and land in your cart).
For Smooth, Glowing Skin -- Overnight -- OUI the People Launches CHEAT SHEET, from $38
We’ve tested (and loved) OUI the People since TQE’s early days. The brand’s latest launch -- a high-powered, fast-working resurfacing body serum called CHEAT SHEET -- promises to deliver your softest skin, overnight. Designed with a potent blend of Glycolic and Lactic Acid, and balanced with Atlantic Sea Kelp to soothe and nourish, CHEAT SHEET seems like it might be the answer to my lifelong personal drama with keratosis pilaris (or even just dull, rough skin that comes with these cooler and dryer months). While you can pick up a bottle of CHEAT SHEET for just $38, I’ve got my eye on THE UNDERCOVER(S) SET ($90), which combines the resurfacing serum with OTP’s hydrating shave gel for your silkiest legs yet. Inhale The (Non-Pumpkin) Spice: Vitruvi’s Limited Edition Holiday Bundle, $150
Deemed on its site to be “the perfect gift” (a hefty promise), Vitruvi launched a limited edition Holiday Bundle this week. For $150, you can gift (or get) one of Vitruvi’s beautiful stone diffusers, along with the Holiday Kit, which features four of the brand’s seasonal essential oil blends. I’m the proud owner of a Vitruvi diffuser myself; there’s nothing quite like the ethereal aroma of an essential oil diffusing in your bedroom. With the change of the seasons, however, I’ve been craving something more grounding than my typical lavender or eucalyptus blends -- and I can’t wait to get my hands on Grove, Golden, Afterglow, and Fireside, which each feature cozy notes like vanilla, clove, nutmeg, pine, cinnamon, you get the gist. By purchasing the Bundle, you’ll save 10% -- and earn points as the best gift giver at any holiday function.
THE Match Made In Heaven: OSEA And Parachute Collaborate To Elevate Your Shower Game, from $16
On Tuesday, OSEA and Parachute announced their latest dreamy partnership: the Energize and Calm Shower Mists. For an AM shower, spritz Energize to invigorate your wake-up with notes of ginger, lime, and sweet orange. As you wind down for an evening ritual, transform your shower into a tranquil retreat with lavender and bergamot in Calm. Snag a set of the two in miniature sizes for just $16 -- an ideal stocking stuffer, if you’re already mentally preparing for holiday gifting season. Even just looking at these mists is transporting me to a spa...someone is speaking to me in a whisper tone...is this well-branded hypnosis?
The Champagne of Kombuchas (Or The Kombucha of Champagne?) from Flying Embers, $24.99
Cards on the table, my jaw dropped when this landed on my radar. 0 grams of sugar, 6.9% ABV, crisp, dry, fermented with Champagne-style yeast and an adaptogenic root blend of ginger, turmeric, and ginseng. I mean...what the f%#k. I’m getting word that Flying Embers has officially won the game. Grab a 4-pack ASAP -- this is the kind of thing you’ll need to test for yourself.

Mission-Driven Streetwear Brand UPRISERS Launches Capsule Collection, prices vary
UPRISERS, the streetwear brand founded by activist (and creative force!) Michelle Hanabusa, will debut an exclusive capsule collection at ComplexCon 2021 alongside other Asian-owned small businesses, like Fly By Jing and Sanzo. Hanabusa, a fourth-generation Japanese-Okinawan American, founded UPRISERS to mobilize fashion as a vehicle for activism, authenticity, and change. This new collection is no different. Inspired by Hanabusa’s childhood memories of her great grandparents’ persimmon tree and local family convenience store in LA, it’s a nostalgic nod that looks towards the future. Shop it here as soon as it drops on November 1.
I’ll be back next week with a new set of launches in the DTC universe. Email me directly -- zoe@thequalityedit.com -- with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
