Launch Digest: The Sun Sets On Entireworld, Italic Is Reborn...And Your Nails Can Match Your Matcha Latté

Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the web’s best products. If you purchase through our links, we may receive a commission. Our editorial team is independent and only endorses products we believe in.

This week saw a number of new launches (and a sad farewell to a brand we know and love). Read on for all the latest in the DTC world, from collaborations you’ll want to snag to sales we’re already shopping -- before inventory is gone, for good.

Entireworld Has Its Last Sale (Ever), from $9

In what is surely the most heartbreaking DTC news of this week, Entireworld announced that it would be closing, after what founder Scott Sternberg -- in an earnest Instagram caption -- described as “years of unsuccessful fundraising.” Here at The Quality Edit, we’ve been long-time fans of Entireworld. The brand’s comfortable pieces carried us through the uncharted territory of dressing for working-from-home while still feeling chic and put together.

Shop Entireworld’s last sale ever now: everything is up to 70% off, with all sweats at $44, button ups at $47, and easy Ts for just $17. While the silver lining here (a liquidation sale) is quite dim, we can’t wait to see what Sternberg -- former founder of cult-favorite clothing label Band of Outsiders -- will do next. We’re sure it will be brilliant.

Golde and Olive & June Team Up To NAIL Your Self-Care Ritual, from $8

Two of our favorite brands for nurturing at-home wellness -- Golde and Olive & June -- teamed up just last week to launch three limited-edition shades inspired by self-care and superfood routines. Featuring Energize, a creamy matcha latte green; Boost, an inspiring sky blue; and Glow, a juicy papaya orange, these polishes are a beautiful upgrade to any at-home pampering ritual.

Dear Diary, Morning Pages, And Notes To Self: Madhappy Launches A Journal, $35

Credit: Madhappy

In honor of World Mental Health Day, mental health streetwear brand (a delightful string of words) Madhappy launched its Journal, “created to help you learn more about yourself and your emotions.” With daily templates designed to connect you with your feelings and help you to navigate through challenging moments, the journal is as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Not only is this templated approach a terrific way to begin consistently journaling, but the Madhappy Journal is also a perfect gift for a friend or loved one who might need some extra support (or a nudge to cultivate their own self-care practice).

Piecework Puzzles and Great Jones Deliver A Sweet Treat, $38

Credit: @greatjones

Piecework Puzzles and Great Jones partnered to design the ideal weekend activity: a colorful “Piece of Cake” puzzle, best paired with some friends and aromatic, cozy baking. Grab this colorful puzzle as a gift-to-self, or knock out some early holiday shopping -- we’re sure this collaboration won’t last long.

For Superstar Pimples: STARFACE Launches Hydro-Stars With Salicylic Acid, $12.99

Credit: @starface

The playful brand known for making pimples a little more fun (or at least a little less nightmare-inducing), STARFACE just launched its new Hydro-Stars with Salicylic Acid, designed to target those very painful, very threatening under-the-skin pimples that you can feel, but can’t quite get to (or get rid of). The 1% salicylic acid helps to dissolve dead skin cells, unclogging pores and treating deeper acne, while the hydrocolloid protector absorbs fluid and reduces inflammation. Translation: this little blue star aims to shrink your pimple overnight. While I haven’t tested these (yet), they sound like exactly what I’ve been searching for -- and wished I had in high school.

Italic Re-Launches: Same Quality, For More People

Earlier this week, the revolutionary online marketplace Italic (which we’ve previously reviewed on TQE) re-launched with a new look and model. Italic is known for removing the middleman, skipping luxury branding to sell high-quality items at cost. Starting this week, Italic is now available for everyone -- no membership required. With the same high-quality standards, manufacturers, and materials, Italic is still delivering radical prices and value. Now, the brand is providing it to everyone -- which both lowers prices and expands access. If you’ve never browsed the site before, check out their sleek new interface and start by shopping their best-selling items here.

Keep Your Eyes Peeled: Upcoming Launches You’ll Want To Know About Now

This week -- inspired by TQE editors who have set their alarms for upcoming launch dates -- I wanted to alert you to some of next week’s new drops (so that you’re adequately prepared to shop).

On Wednesday (October 20), Hill House Home will launch its Holiday Collection, featuring ornate prints and velvet fabric iterations on its beloved Nap Dresses.

On Thursday (October 21), DTC fragrance brand Snif will launch its first scented candle collection -- and you can sign up for the waitlist now to get early access.

I’ll be back next week with a new set of launches in the DTC universe. Email me directly -- zoe@thequalityedit.com -- with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
