Launch Digest: Hailey Bieber In Your Freezer, Face-Grade Bodycare, And Sales For Your Summer Wardrobe

Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the web’s best products. If you purchase through our links, we may receive a commission. Our editorial team is independent and only endorses products we believe in.

Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe. This week is packed with launches that are true treats: Hailey Bieber’s Erewhon soft serve made home-freezer-friendly, delayed collabs that are keeping Mean Girls and Barbie alive decades and months after their movie mania, and bodycare that will give your facial skincare routine a run for its money. Stay with me till the end and I’ll spill all of the best sales this week, along with the tools and potions that are keeping my hair hydrated and glossy as the weather gets hotter and dryer.

Barbie And Hailey Beiber Walk Into Your Kitchen And Crack Open A Cold One

Credit: Erewhon

That isn’t a set-up for a punchline, it’s just the situation this week. OLIPOP launched a limited-edition “Barbie” flavor, which feels more than a few weeks belated, but I won’t argue with the timeless taste of a Peaches & Cream soda. While we’re at the theater, for your consideration: Churn linked up with Paramount to launch a Hot Honey Butter in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Mean Girls (which first premiered on April 30, 2004). Forget billboards and print ads. Movie marketing in 2024 lives rent-free in your fridge!

Love the Hailey Bieber soft serve so much you wish you could have it on-demand? Erewhon prides itself on anticipating your needs, wants, and sweet treat desires. As of this week, you can buy the creamy vegan vanilla ice cream with a strawberry smoothie swirl by the pint, courtesy of Erewhon and Cosmic Bliss

If you’re more the mochi type (or if you don’t live near an Erewhon), allow me to direct your attention to Sweety, a second-generation Asian dessert company using family recipes to make mochi ice cream treats you’ll want to keep stockpiled in your freezer. While Sweety has been in the family since 1978, a new rebrand (which just debuted this month) features the founders’ parents’ original storefront sign and repackages these nostalgic mochi bites to make them shoppable (and snackable) across the U.S. Take your pick, from Azuki Red Bean to Matcha.

Graza teased that they were launching “The biggest thing Graza has done since Graza was created” earlier this week. Perhaps I’m jaded because I was privy to the launch a few months in advance, but I certainly don’t think it’s the biggest thing the brand has done, conceptually speaking (need I remind us all of the NA Olive Oil Martini? Or these chips? Because chips are always a big deal?) Still, the innovation is a clever solve to a problem you might not even realize you have: Beer Cans, minus the beer

Graza’s founders knew that their squeeze containers weren’t ideal for maintaining olive oil quality in bigger proportions, and set out to find a quality bulk option that would protect against oxidation and stand at the ready for refills without spills. 100% recyclable, nitrogen-sealed, and fully opaque cans, perfectly portioned to match your Graza bottles. Shop for your Sizzle and Drizzle Beer Cans at Whole Foods across the country or directly on Graza’s site, and keep those pantry staples as fresh as your bright, herby, EVOO chimichurri.

OSEA Brings Facial-Grade Hydration To Your Whole-Body Care

Credit: OSEA

If you caught my interview with OSEA’s founder Jenefer Palmer, you’re already hip to the notion that what you put on your body is just as – if not more – impactful than your elaborate ten-step facial routine. Jenefer hinted at this launch in our conversation, and now it’s finally here: a Hyaluronic Body Serum, clinically proven to instantly boost hydration by 161%. Powered by Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, vegan peptides, two types of nutrient-rich seaweed, and aloe, the Serum works to improve your natural skin barrier and delivers 24-hour moisture. Pair it with the Undaria Collagen Lotion for a silky, firming effect, or the Undaria Algae Oil for a glowy finish.

Haircare Upgrades Worth The Hype

Credit: ROZ

If your Instagram feed is anything like mine – populated by beautiful women who don’t scream influencer but, simultaneously, could get me to purchase any damn product they swear by – you’ve maybe seen whispers of RŌZ, founded by celebrity hairstylist Mara Rosznak. Powered by plants and driven by performance, the line is built around a one-of-a-kind BotaniComplex™, replete with Ginger Root, Frankincense, Grape, and Walnut to soothe, hydrate, and nourish your hair. Start with the Shampoo & Conditioner, which smell like heaven and will make your hair look just as divine. I’m also hearing amazing things about the Willow Glen Treatment Oil and Santa Lucia Styling Oil, and imagine these little glass bottles will soon take up permanent residence on my shower shelf.

I’m perhaps very late to the round brush hairstyler trend, but I’m thrilled to be here. I’ve been a reticent naysayer of the trend from afar – why do I need a new tool when I’ve already perfected my at-home blowout? (Brag.) T3’s Airebrush has me eating my words. Smoothing, volumizing, two times faster than my pre-existing round brush method, and certainly worth the hype.

Before You Go…

I have some very tempting summer-ready collections and sales for you to shop, because temperatures are rising and your closet might be a total bore (sorry for projecting). When I say very tempting, I mean it: I’m in a toxic relationship with every open tab and item I’m hoarding in my virtual carts.

Dôen’s Mother’s Day Sale is on from now through the 12th, with some items up to 50% off. The pieces and prices are right, standing by to revamp your wardrobe for weekend trips to the countryside and summer weddings; don’t miss the pointelles and cozy sweaters for your daily drivers.

Christy Dawn’s new collection is the platonic ideal of cottage core meets Topanga meets Montana – true to form for the designer’s sustainably-made, easy breezy pieces since the brand’s inception. Counterbalance a lacy cotton dress with leather lace-up boots for a seamless uniform from Summer through Fall.

Hereu’s Summer Archive Sale has everything I want and more, from fisherman sandals to OJ-hued scrunchy flip flops that are begging for a spin in Pantelleria. I purchased my first pair of Hereus via one of the brand’s archive sales a few years ago, and my personal-price-per-wear must be sub-$1, considering the sheer frequency with which I’ve worn my loafers into the ground. A sale purchase you’ll not soon regret.

See also: Ciao Lucia’s new Summer pieces, the SSENSE sale (which now seems to be a year-round affair – be sure to set up an account for access to the private sale deals), your sunglass staple of the summer in Le Specs’ deeply discounted treasure trove, and up to 50% off your beauty grails via Violet Grey’s Private Sale (don’t miss the Barbara Sturm and Launch Digest darling Omorovicza).

Happy shopping. Email me directly – zoe@thequalityedit.com – with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit
