Spring Awakening: Brightland’s ZEAL Ramps Up The Seasonal Spirit, $28

While the Equinox may have been last weekend – and we’re all enjoying our extra hour of evening sunlight – Brightland’s latest launch feels like the true start of spring (at least in our kitchens). ZEAL, the brand’s new slow-fermented vinegar, is made with wild ramps sustainably foraged on a 225-acre nature preserve in the Shenandoah Valley. Made in partnership with Lindera Farms, this small-batch vinegar is a delicious, nuanced ode to the rare allium flower, with tasting notes of garlic, shallot leek, and pickled jalapeño.

Brightland’s Founder and CEO Aishwarya Iyer says of ZEAL: “We admire Lindera Farms’ commitment to responsible foraging as well as slow fermentation. I love using this vinegar to wake up grain salads full of early spring produce like spicy radishes and bright green peas.” For the mixologist, I’m told it also makes a delicious addition to bloody marys, martinis, gibsons, and plenty of other savory cocktails. Shop it on Brightland’s site now – while supplies last, which probably won’t be long.

Little Passports Gives Your Child A Window To The World, $25.95

Credit: Little Passports

Little Passports just launched its new line, Animals Wild, which transports children across the world to explore unique habitats, ecosystems, and environments. The 6-month line is designed for kids ages three to five, and incorporates STEM and geography-driven activities including pop-up play sets, hands-on games, and collectible pop-out animals. Featuring a new ecosystem each month and over 100 animals, the program will take your children from the Amazon to the Serengeti, throughout the Lappland region of Northern Europe, the Australian Outback, and more. It’s available for pre-purchase now, at just $25.95 per month. Your little ones can see the world without leaving the house (just yet).

Noémie Puts The Sparkle In Spring With New, Stackable Diamonds, from $720

Credit: Noémie

Noémie, one of our favorite DTC fine jewelry brands, just launched its newest Petite Diamond Stack Ring collection (from $720), inspired by its best-selling Petite Diamond Band. Designed for stacking, these new rings are simple, sleek, and undeniably sparkly – so they’ll shine on their own, but still play well with others. The new collection features three different diamond center cuts surrounded by 24 pave round diamonds, handcrafted in solid 18-karat gold or platinum. Choose between Emerald, Pear, and Oval cuts, and rest easy with Noémie’s free shipping and returns, even on engraved or custom rings.

Eyes On: New Brands And Their Gateway Bundles

This week, I’m checking out some new brands – and their smart starter kits that make the perfect meet-cute.

Credit: INBLOOM

Kate Hudson joins the league of celebrities with DTC beverage brands: Whether it’s Kendall Jenner with 818 or Katy Perry with De Soi, celebrities in the last year have increasingly decided that success in one arena simply isn’t enough. Why not start a brand, for fun? Kate Hudson’s INBLOOM offers powders “made from nature and rooted in wellness,” designed with nutrients and vitamins that can be mixed into liquids, smoothies, recipes, and more. Shop the Essential Kit ($105), which launched earlier this month. This starter kit is ideal for taking on-the-go, and INBLOOM’s blog has all the recipes you’ll need to replicate the super-lattes, treats, and smoothies Kate herself swears by.

STARFACE is MORE than just adorable, pimple-curing stickers: Known for making pimples fun (or at least less hellish), STARFACE, as I’ve really just found out this week, is making a suite of other skin-saving products. Whether you’re looking for a moisturizer, overnight chemical exfoliant, or acne-fighting cleanser (one for your body and another for your face), STARFACE has you covered. Check out the Big Space Bundle ($51.26) for a cost-effective introduction to some of the brand’s latest and greatest, from cleanser to pore strips – and, of course, the O.G. fan-favorite Hydro-Stars.

I’ll be back next week with a new set of launches in the DTC universe. Email me directly -- zoe@thequalityedit.com -- with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
