Have we reached peak beverage? In the past year of writing this column, no industry has proved more adaptive and chameleonic than Big Beverage. The drinks business soaks up new trends from other industries faster than the average person crushes a case of Ghia. And the cast of characters angling to cash in keeps growing: Hydration fixation sweeping skincare? Tom Brady’s got a new coconut water to help. Protein-maxxing taking over wellness blogs? Kristen Cavelleri’s Fizzen promises 8 grams a can.
A friend who runs a successful branding agency took me to Erewhon a couple years ago to give me the lay of the beverage branding land. We shivered in front of a triple wide row of refrigerators and marveled at the sheer amount of options. How could it be that one store contained every alkaline water, organic kombucha, and non alc prebiotic aperitif imaginable? And who was buying them all?
A few years later and this cornucopia is available to imbibe any semi-fancy bodega in New York. Consumers routinely expect a previously unthinkable number of drink options. But more options means more competition, even for legacy brands with loyal followings and hot newcomers with buy-ins from big names. And there’s only so many products a single supermarket fridge can hold. When the beverage bubble inevitably bursts, flavor and affordability — not celebrity endorsements or niche wellness trend chasing — are what will keep buyers coming back. For now, all we can do is shiver in the beverage aisle and take in the abundance.
And now, this week’s best new product launches, edible & otherwise:

Trending: Highly-Designed Homewares

Quince dropped their second outdoor furniture collection this week, just in time for the height of summer hosting. The new line spans three materials: teak, wicker, and aluminum. The diverse collection has a wide range of pieces to upgrade your outdoor space whether your style is organic modern, sleek minimalism, or coastal summer house.
If your personal design style leans a little more playful, Houseplant, the cannabis lifestyle brand from Seth Rogen, has expanded its Gloopy homeware collection. The lineup includes fresh ashtray colorways, a brand-new Gloopy Planter, returning vase favorites, and an expanded Gloopy rug collection, all referencing Seth's signature pottery glaze.
Trending: Yuzu-Inspired Scents

Salt & Stone have brought back their Lily & Yuzu fragrance – this time as a permanent addition to the collection. Originally launched as a limited-edition collaboration with Aritzia in 2025, the scent sold out in under two weeks and has been consistently requested by consumers ever since. The lily, yuzu, matcha, green apple, amber, and jasmine scent will be available in Body Mist, Deodorant, and Body Wash formats.
Japanese fragrance brand Diffar launched new lines of Fragrance Multi Balms and Perfume Oils. The Perfume Oil is a non-alcohol, oil-based fragrance made with 100% naturally derived ingredients including yuzu ceramide, a botanical extract derived from Japanese yuzu. The Fragrance Multi Balm is a soft-melting balm enriched with Jojoba Seed Oil, Beeswax, and Carrot Root Extract formulated to blend into hair and skin with body heat.
Before You Go…

- British perfumers Ffern launched their new Summer '26 perfume timed to the summer solstice this week. Ffern blends, barrel-ages and bottles a new natural fragrance and candle for every season. Summer '26 is a heady citrus-floral fragrance, sweet with dewy clementine and sun-warmed roses, threaded by vines of basil, galbanum and blackcurrant bud, inspired by a playful retelling of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
- Oishii launched its new Strawberry Shishito Jelly, a sweet-and-spicy spread made with Oishii’s upcycled, pesticide-free, non-GMO berries, combined with crisp shishito peppers and a dash of habanero for a dynamic, invigorating finish. YUM!
- SAUZ are out to prove that they can nail a classic: they’ve just released Basic Basil Marinara, a pantry sauce that uses real ingredients, California-grown tomatoes, and packs in more basil than any competing marinara on the shelf.
- Glamnetic dropped their new Sandal Season 2026 collection, including 11 brand-new press-on pedi styles. Each pedi pairs perfectly with an existing Glamnetic mani so you can precisely match your mani-pedi.
