Happy New Year! New Years is my favorite holiday because of its invitation to take stock, have gratitude, and embrace change. If you’re into the Zodiac (which, as our resident Horoscope Gift Guide editor, I clearly am), 2026 promises to have a particularly active energy: we’ve moved through the Year of the Snake, shedding systems and beliefs that no longer serve us, into the Year of the Horse, which is all about action, momentum, and movement. In other words, now that we’re free of the unnecessary baggage we shed in 2025, we can gallop ahead into the new year.
After a seemingly universally chaotic 2025, we at TQE took some time to reflect and set intentions for the year ahead. I’m so excited to embrace this upcoming year’s spirit of clarity and action in my writing, and am curious whether brands will be following suit in how they pivot in 2026. Will we see leaner, more potent offerings that successfully cut through the morass of DTC offerings? Will founders refine their visions and embrace action-oriented mission statements? If 2025 was a year of anxious indecision and hedging for many, here’s hoping 2026 offers a boost that pushes all of us towards ideals of clarity, direct communication, and free-spirited exploration.
While we’ve all been taking a breather over the holidays, many brands have already been busy preparing their first launches of 2026. Read on for some of our favorites:

First Up: A Setting Spray From Saie

As I hinted in last week’s Launch Digest, setting sprays are shaping up to be an early beauty trend for 2026. Saie launched the CitySet Setting Spray, a clean, non-comedogenic, alcohol-free setting spray designed to extend makeup wear for 16 hours and hydrate the skin. The ultra-fine mist is lightweight on skin, providing a natural-dewy finish without any stickiness or dryness. Its soothing formula makes it ideal for all skin types, including sensitive and dry skin.
Trending: Whole Ingredients

Chef Scott Conant, best known for Chopped, Scarpetta, and his cookbooks including Peace, Love, and Pasta: Simple and Elegant Recipes from a Chef's Home Kitchen, is bringing his signature pomodoro to grocery shelves with Martone Street, a new line of tomato sauces inspired by his family’s recipes. The line is launching with four sauces, all made with organic tomatoes and clean ingredients. Each is gluten-free, non-GMO, and contains no added sugar or preservatives. As of this week, Martone Street is available at Sprouts nationwide and via the Martone Street website.

There’s an exciting launch in the non-alc beverage space: Montara, an organic, non-alcoholic verjus spritz crafted from organic early-harvest Chardonnay grapes grown along California’s coast from SomethingElse, the makers of Kally. The brand describes their spritz as “California in a can”: refreshing and bright, full of natural citrus and stone-fruit notes, minerality, and a dry finish. I’m always in search of non-alc options that aren’t dealcoholized wines or overly sweet mocktails, so I love that their recipe includes just three ingredients: each naturally non-alcoholic can blends verjus (pressed from young, unfermented Chardonnay grapes), filtered water, and bubbles. Perfect for those wanting to cut back after an indulgent holiday season.
Trending: Winter Accessories

DeMellier launched The Stockholm Collection - a modern, sculptural interpretation of the classic bowling bag silhouette. The new bag shape is available in several sizes, and was conceived by an all-female London design team.
Lack of Color launched the Snowfall Collection — a snow-inspired drop of winter accessories that elevates the après-ski aesthetic with babushkas, trappers, beanie headbands, and buckets — all in soft neutrals, plush textures, and dreamy chalet-ready silhouettes, and all under $200.
Before You Go…

- Makeup by Mario introduced the limited edition Jelly Jar™ Lip & Cheek Balm. This is Mario’s first-to-market bouncy, jelly-like formula for lips and cheeks. It was developed to deliver a lightweight, nourishing feel with a wash of color. The product is infused with Castor Oil, Vitamin E, and Hyaluronic Acid for hydration.
- California Naturals launched the Dream Curls line, a new three-step system designed to deliver hydrated, frizz-free, bouncy curls. The line includes a shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream in a rose garden inspired scent.
- Skinfix launched the Brighten + Firm 15% Vitamin C Serum. This is the first clinical Vitamin C with National Eczema Association approval. It’s housed in an airless bottle and is formulated with 2 peptides (one to brighten, one to firm) and THD Ascorbate, a gentle yet potent form of vitamin C.
