Launch Digest: Boxed Launches For Your Inner Child, Beauty For Reproductive Justice, And Enough Hot Girl Foods To Last Us A Lifetime

Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the web’s best products. If you purchase through our links, we may receive a commission. Our editorial team is independent and only endorses products we believe in.

Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe. This week will keep you busy in the kitchen, chef: be prepared to eat gourmet boxed mac & cheese for weeks, dine on multivitamins that taste like chewy shortbread, and enjoy some Keystone Light-flavored tinned fish. Kind of. Our Place has new tableware for nailing the presentation – even if dinner came from a cardboard box. And if you’re more the type to make a reservation than dinner, Freda Salvador’s new collection has your footwear sorted. Shall we?

Inner Child Work: Mac & Cheese Mania For Every Dietary Predilection

Credit: Goodles

My inbox is brimming with mac & cheese-oriented launches. This doesn’t feel like an accident – CPG seems to be slouching toward childhood nostalgia. Goodles launched gluten-free versions of its bestselling boxed mac and cheese this week. Although these boxes might look like your convenient comfort food of yore, they’re anything but. The ingredient list is bursting with quality, nutrient-dense superstars like broccoli, spinach, kale, pumpkin, and maitake mushrooms, resulting in a bowl packed with creamy, dreamy flavor – whether you opt for the vegan option or real cheddar ($30 per 6-pack). Annie’s Mac, watch your back.

Not to be outdone by a younger, trendier marketing spin, Jovial Foods – the family-owned company making gluten-free, grain-free, organic Italian foods, and celebrated in my personal kitchen for the best soaked and pressure-cooked beans in glass jars – is launching a Truffle Mac & Cheese next week. It’s gluten-free, organic, kosher, and made with real cheddar cheese and Italian black truffles. For the inner child with expensive taste.

In news that is very 2024-snack-aisle-coded, globally-inspired noodle snack brand S’NOODS launched earlier this month with three flavors: Cavatappi Carbonara, Rigatoni Basil Pomodoro, and Spicy Miso Ramen. You’re reading this right. Noodles as snacks. They’re crunchy, and surprisingly, gluten-free.

Hot Girls Gone Fishing

Credit: Fishwife

Fishwife’s collabs are always a delight. This week, they’re partnering with Keystone Light for a boat snack link-up: The Smooth Snackle Pack. Launching on leap day (February 29) on Keystone’s website, the collaboration centers around a tackle box that includes a compartment with Fishwife’s Smoked Rainbow Trout, an insulated section to keep your Keystone Light ice cold, and an Uber Eats gift card to get your beer delivered directly to your door – or dock. This is a highly specific collab for a highly specific demographic. I am not in that demographic, but maybe you are.

Credit: Good Girl Snacks

Speaking of snacks branded for hot women, meet Good Girl Snacks, a new pickle brand that has trademarked the phrase “Hot Girl Pickles.” I wish we could enjoy foods without having to describe them as somehow related to gender and appearance, but 2024 won’t allow it. Whether you lean classic Dill or want to spice up your life with some Honey Harissa, you’ll look hot while doing it – the gorgeous co-founders (and best friends) guarantee it. I am a woman and I like pickles; by transitive property, this must mean I am hot! Great news for me, and for so many of my readers!

Before You Go…

Credit: Haven’s Kitchen, Saie

If your pantry needs more than multiple mac & cheese launches, pickles, and Keystone Light-themed tinned fish, look no further than Haven’s Kitchen’s new line of zero-cholesterol aolis, which are already on Amazon (and will be rolling out in retailers next week). They’re shelf-stable, creamy, and delivering some ideal flavor profiles, from Herby Yuzu to Sunshine Chili. Convenient squeeze-pouches mean you can drizzle, drip, and spread a little extra tanginess or spice anywhere, anytime. If they’re even half as good as the brand’s sauces (I’m talking Turmeric Tahini and Chimichurri – if you know, you know), consider me preemptively addicted.

My favorite clean makeup brand, Saie Beauty, just became my favorite brand, period, with their Every Body Campaign – the largest beauty-industry backed reproductive justice initiative in history. Powered by Saie, the campaign joins together over 60 brands to raise funds for the SisterSong Collective, a voice for reproductive justice on behalf of BIPOC communities across the U.S. 100% of the proceeds from Saie’s limited-edition bundle with 4AM Skin ($32) will go to SisterSong. Browse the Campaign site to get involved – from donating funds directly to SisterSong, to using your vote to activate change in this year’s primary and general elections.

The new Zara Home collection is a nice reminder that Zara Home exists and is really, shockingly good.

Tekla’s Archive sale is live, and this is not a drill. Shop up to 40% off my favorite bedding, robes, and towels, and textiles writ large with code FEBRUARYARCHIVE. The goods – particularly the hooded robes and bedding – are moving fast, so shop like you mean it. I am the fool who decided to purchase the pillowcases I had been lusting over for months just the day before the sale started. I make mistakes so you don’t have to!

Happy shopping. Email me directly – zoe@thequalityedit.com – with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit
