The influencer wellness economy reached one of my favorite brands this week: Alix Earle has officially become an investor in Cymbiotika. Like Earle, I’ve been a Cymbiotika devotee for years. The brand is best known for its clean, liposomal delivery wellness products – I remember when their liposomal vitamin c sachets swept East LA a few years ago. Back then, it was an IYKYK wellness brand popular amongst LA wellness acolytes, but the brand rapidly expanded in the last year: rolled into every Target nationwide, expanded into 1000+ Ultas, and raised $25M.
Earle’s investment is an equity stake, not a brand deal, following years of daily use. According to the press release, a co-branded product is “on the table down the line,” which I assume means “in the works.” Earle joins a cap table full of expected wellness/beauty-adjacent influencers like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, as well as the more unexpected Zac Efron, Peggy Gou, and the Jonas Brothers.
While I’m usually skeptical of such rapid growth, I’m hopeful that this influx of investment from Earle and others means that Cymbiotika’s high quality standards can survive the expansion. It’s hardly a novel idea, but in an era when seemingly every brand is required to have a celeb founder attached, it’s nice to see someone with significant resources backing an existing brand she believes in.

First Up: A New Sleep Tracker From Hatch
Hatch launched the new Hatch Sleep Clock, a sleep tracker designed to turn sleep data into adaptive action.
The new clock leverages contactless sleep tracking to learn your sleep patterns, and then uses those insights to
customize bedtime routines with immersive light, premium sleep audio, and personalized guidance. I’m a huge convert to the Hatch Restore, so I’m looking forward to testing the Sleep Clock ASAP!

LDMA launched Contour, their first-ever activewear collection. The four-piece collection includes a bralette, sports bra, leggings, and bike shorts and is available in two colorways. All of the designs feature sculpting silhouettes and compressive fabric.
Activewear label 437 released new active shorts and capri leggings inspired by summer workouts. The label carries active shorts with a 3 inch and 5 inch inseam, along with capris and cropped leggings. The new designs were developed to pair with the brand’s popular active tops and bras.

Medik8 debuted their new Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel. The cleansing gel is designed to protect your skin barrier and is clinically proven to cleanse without compromising hydration. Prebiotic inulin helps reduce the disruption to the microbiome typically caused by cleansing. And the brand’s proprietary Moisture Magnets™ replenishes hydration even after rinsing. The cleanser is sensitive skin friendly and was awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.
Skinfix marked their expansion into Ulta with an exclusive product: the Relief+ Hypochlorous Daily Mist. Formulated with 0.02% Hypochlorous Acid, it is the first-to-market airless misting tube, developed to protect the formula’s potency. Hypochlorus Acid is a very on-trend ingredient this year that helps skin recover faster from breakouts, reactivity, and everyday stressors. It can help soothe acne-prone skin, sunburns, cuts, scrapes, piercings, rashes and more.

- MALK launched the new Whole MALK, a plant milk truly built to replace dairy. - Tangle Teezer and SKIMS relaunched their bestselling Ultimate Detangler collaboration brush. The collaboration sold out in 3 hours the first time so the two brands decided to bring it back. The brush comes in four of SKIMS’ iconic nude tones.
- Naomi (known best for their kitchen hand scrub), expanded beyond the kitchen with the new Los Angeles Terroir hand wash. The handwash is built around plants foraged from the LA landscape.
- Nécessaire released The Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, formulated to help dry, frizzy hair. The products contain ceramides, argan oil, and Nécessaire’s proprietary Botanical Silk Complex, which offers a plant-derived alternative to silicones.
- Ernesta launched the Earth Tones Collection, the first of Ernesta’s Fall 2026 drops. The four new styles are inspired by the warm neutrals, rich jewel tones, and organic textures. The collection’s colorways span camel, olive, terracotta, chocolate, dusty rose, champagne, and teal.
