Fly By Jing And Fishwife Create A Collab Of Culinary Dreams, $39

Credit: Fly By Jing

On Tuesday, Fly By Jing and Fishwife teamed up to drop a collaboration guaranteed to thrill and delight their perfectly aligned and dedicated fanbases. The two women-owned powerhouses merged each of their best-sellers – Fly By Jing’s Sichuan Chili Crisp and Fishwife’s Smoked Atlantic Salmon – to debut the Smoked Salmon with Sichuan Chili Crisp ($39 per 3-pack), featuring sustainably-sourced Arctic Smoked Salmon, made in small batches by a fifth-generation family-run cannery. Are you hungry yet? With a spicy, tingly, and perfectly umami flavor profile, this collab is the best tinned fish you’ll ever taste – if you snag it before it sells out.

Founders Jing Gao and Becca Millstein are not just good friends IRL, but also share an office. Basically, the collaboration is a match made in DTC heaven (and we can only hope for more to come). Shop it now via Fishwife or FBJ – while supplies last, which surely won’t be long.

Girlfriend Collective Springs Into New Flirty Styles, from $42

Credit: Girlfriend Collective

Spring is here, and so are Girlfriend Collective’s fresh and breezy new styles. Earlier this week, Girlfriend added reinvented takes on some of its existing favorites, including a new Scoop Neck Bra ($42) and V-Neck Compressive Tank ($44). For your flirty springtime jaunts, consider the first-of-its-kind Flounce Skort ($62), and the Strappy dress ($88) in new Fig and Scooter colorways. Like all of Girlfriend’s collection, these new releases are made from recycled water bottles, and are all available in sizes ranging from XXS to 6XL. Do good for the Earth and your body, whether you’re working out or simply hanging out in some sunnier weather.

What Are We Celebrating? Ruby Will Bring The Bubbles, $34.99

Credit: Ruby

Ruby, known for its refreshing, flavor-filled, bright red hibiscus tea – and perhaps even better known, at least amongst the TQE team, for its playful and impeccable brand identity – just launched Sparkling Ruby. The three new sparkling flavors are 100% organic, with no added sugar, artificial additives or acids, and a delicious juicy flavor (reminiscent of its original Ruby Hibiscus Water, of course). Choose between Unsweetened Sparkling Ruby Hibiscus, Blood Orange Hibiscus, and Concord Grape Hibiscus – and get ready to fall in love with your new favorite warm-weather beverage ($34.99 per 12-pack).

New To Us: Pharmakon Supernatural, from $24

Credit: Pharmakon Supernatural

While this brand isn’t brand new, it certainly hasn’t gotten the shine it deserves – and I just discovered it last week. Founded by herbalist and holistic health practitioner Rachelle Robinett, Pharmakon Supernatural offers a full library of herbalism courses, exploring everything from metabolism to fertility. If you’re not looking for coursework but are still interested in the power of herbal allies, Robinett has created HRBLS, herbal remedy gummies for stress-anxiety relief, energy endurance, and digestive health. I’ve tried my fair share of similar edible functional supplements, and I can earnestly say that these are the best I’ve ever had. In each gummy, you can taste the components of the blend – be it fennel, ginger, or lavender – and feel the potent effects as a result. Try the box set ($60) for yourself, and let me know what you think.

Worth A Glance: New Flavors, Colors, and Shimmers From Some Superstar Brands

In the last few weeks, some of our DTC darlings have launched a few new shiny objects worthy of a quick roundup.

Credit: Jones Road Beauty and Saie Beauty

Jones Road Beauty, the creation of iconic makeup artist Bobbi Brown, launched its Shimmer Face Oil last week ($34). Engineered as a makeup-skincare hybrid, this glow in a bottle is comprised of nine nourishing oils that moisturize and deliver a healthy, luminous radiance. A summer glow at the beginning of spring? Say less, I’m sold!

OLIPOP, the good-for-you and your gut microbiome soda that really needs no introduction, dropped a new Tropical Punch flavor ($35.99 per 12-pack) described as a “vacation for your tastebuds.” With a blend of pineapple, passion fruit, mandarin, and apple, it’s packing a nostalgic, crisp punch (pun intended).

Saie Beauty, everyone’s favorite clean makeup line, launched new shades of its beloved water-based dew blush. Shop the Cheek Dewo ($44) and snag both of the new shades – Spicy and Chilly – while saving a few bucks with the bundle.

I’ll be back next week with a new set of launches in the DTC universe. Email me directly -- zoe@thequalityedit.com -- with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
