Like many parents, I spent the better part of last year home with my kids. I’m pretty sure every parent dreams about independent play -- the idea of your child entertaining themselves for hours on end sounds pretty idyllic. But what most parents don’t realize is that you actually have to help your kids build this skill, starting with just a few minutes at a time.
