Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the web’s best products. If you purchase through our links, we may receive a commission. Our editorial team is independent and only endorses products we believe in.
In the age of PR gifting and paid influencer partnerships smattered all over social media, it's hard to know whether a recommendation is wholehearted or winking. Is this product actually a must-have? Or did you get it in a gift bag and, yeah, it's not too shabby. Or worse (but understandably)—did your friend found a company and you’re giving her free press?
We want to know: What do people spend real dollar dollar bills on? We're dying to hear what you buy and re-buy, what you recommend with every fiber of your being, what your hard won earnings go toward. With brands sending free stuff to the microest of influencers, we decided it's high time for a roundup series that includes exclusively products that have been purchased and loved outright. Think of Receipts as a fun-things-only money diaries.

Sara Walker has always had an eye for style, and her resume proves it. The Seattle native and USC alum has spent years working across fashion’s most exciting corners: editorial at Who What Wear, styling for names like FWRD and Micaela Erlanger, and public relations at Wetherly Fashion Group. After a few years behind the scenes, she joined the buying team at Revolve, where she helped shape the brand’s offering across outerwear, ski, swim, and denim. Through it all, Sara has developed a fashion POV that’s both effortlessly cool and sharply on trend.
Today, Sara works as a stylist, fashion consultant, and content creator, sharing her signature minimalist-meets-romantic style with a growing digital audience. Most recently, she launched a dreamy dress with Reformation, available both online and in-store. And if that weren’t enough, she’s newly engaged (congrats, Sara!) and in the midst of planning a wedding, all while continuing to take on creative consulting projects and grow her presence both on and offline. Safe to say, she is busy.
Below, she shares the beauty and lifestyle staples that keep her glowing, on and off camera. From a cult-favorite vitamin C serum to a blush she wears daily, these are the products Styled Sara swears by.
First, a minute for the dress. Available in three colors, Reformation’s Sara Linen Dress will have you looking like that girl. It’s 100% linen and 100% perfect for summer – whether you’re heading to a wedding, beach picnic, or bottomless brunch. In Sara’s words: “I wanted to create the perfect summer dress that felt very me and very Ref. It’s timeless, special, and everything I imagined.”
Caudalie’s VinoPerfect is one of Sara’s absolute favorites – and it has almost 3,500 five-star reviews to boot. She uses this brightening serum – which has been clinically shown to visibly reduce the appearance of dark spots caused by sun exposure, acne, and more – day and night. It’s entirely changed her skin!

A vitamin C classic for a reason. Sara swears her skin has never glowed more since adding this to her AM routine.

A Caudalie fan through and through, Sara calls this her secret to smooth, dewy skin all day. It makes a great lightweight layer under makeup.

As a west coast resident and frequent traveler, Sara never leaves the house without SPF, and this one’s her go-to. It’s light, non-greasy, and layers like a dream.

This sunburnt red gives Sara that just-got-back-from-the-beach flush she can’t get enough of. Our beauty editors are also big fans – you can read their full review of Saie’s new blush shades here.

Sara sleeps with her hair up in these every night. They don’t cause breakage, actually hold, and she owns at least 10 (yes, really). We’re big fans of everything Crown Affair founder Diana Cohen makes (and buys – read her Receipts feature here!).
