Rollas Jeans Review: Roll into A Fresh, New Style

The Sailor Jean is definitely a Rolla’s signature piece and is without question one of their very best jeans. It’s got an easy-breezy '70s vibe and comes in a variety of denim washes, as well as a few corduroy and canvas colors. The high-waisted rise of these jeans provides really nice support around the waist, plus a nice shaping of the derrière, and the Ashley Blue color has been pre-washed to give these jeans an authentic vintage look. Say goodbye to rigid denim: these cords are made from three types of corduroy od different widths — baby wale, wide wale, and traditional wale — which makes their texture verge on velvety and helps the pants soften over time while maintaining that perfect fit. The high waist makes it easy to style them with tops and shirts of different lengths, and they're a versatile option for any body type. The silver lining to it all is that Rolla's signature silver-toned trim.

The Contrast Naomi Dress is one of our favorite Rolla’s pieces that isn’t a pair of jeans or pants. It’s made from ribbed, stretchy fabrics like cotton and elastane, and its square, white-rimmed neckline takes us back to the classic silhouettes of the 90s. Wear it poolside, to a tennis match, or to a long and luxurious lunch — this is one of those rare dresses that’s stylish and comfortable at the same time. We know vests have been back in style for a while, but it’s harder than you think to find one that’s actually flattering. The Rolla’s Dallas Vest in Chloe Recycled blue wash denim is like a well-fitting tank top disguised as a vest. Its length is short enough to accentuate the torso and the vest features an adjustable strap in the back to really customize how it fits on your body. The Eastcoast Flares have the structure of the Dusters Bootcut pants with a bell-bottom opening at the end, making them the sassiest of all the Rolla’s pants styles. If your everyday shoe is a high-heeled boot, these are the pants for you. They come in over a dozen other colors and fabrics, including a denim ankle cut and a brown corduroy overall style, all of which we love.

If a straightforward jean is what you’re looking for, Rolla’s has that, too. The Heidi Jean has all the utility of classic denim with a bit more of a relaxed feel around the leg. This is the type of wide-leg jean you want to wear with a crisp, white T-shirt for that classic American look.

Rolla’s has menswear, too! Their best-selling Relaxo Chop pants in black corduroy are true to their name — the hem is chopped off right above the ankles, and the pants have a relaxed fit throughout the leg. They might technically be in the menswear category, but we wouldn’t blame anyone wanting to wear these on a daily basis.

Another favorite in the menswear category, this Men At Work shirt, made from a hemp and cotton blend, has a soft and lightweight feel with long sleeves that are easy to roll up during the summer time. Sure, you could wear this shirt while working… but it reminds us of being at the beach too much to inspire a good work ethic.
