When it’s come to making a name for himself, Patrick Schwarzenegger has done the heavy lifting (ya feel me?). From starring in the most recent, globally talked about season of The White Lotus to co-creating the ultimate brain-boosting protein bar—MOSH—with his mom, Maria Shriver, Patrick invests in his health and wellbeing from a 360-degree perspective, and he practices what he preaches.
Whether he’s on set or at home by the beach, Patrick thoughtfully curates his wellness routine to keep his body, mind, and spirit in balance… and that also involves advising and investing in some of the industry’s most notable brands like Liquid I.V., Super Coffee, and Simulate.
We got the lowdown on all of his “trade secrets,” and immediately biohacked our way through the day.
“I'm obsessed with my morning heat therapy sessions. For anyone wanting to bring this experience home, I recommend a Clearlight Infrared Sauna. They're doctor-designed and tons of professional athletes swear by them for recovery. Just 20 minutes first thing in the morning gets my blood flowing, loosens up my muscles, and puts me in the right headspace to tackle the day.”

“This simple practice might be the most powerful part of my wellness routine. My fiancée Abby (Champion) and I wake up, walk to get coffee, head to the beach to say our gratitude list and prayers, then walk home and work out. That morning ritual sets the tone for everything else. Of all my wellness habits, this basic practice probably has the biggest impact on my daily happiness.”

“Walking is such a huge part of my daily wellness routine. My fiancée Abby and I literally roll out of bed and head straight out for a walk to the beach to grab coffee. I love my Brooks Glycerin Max shoes because they give me that perfect cushioning for these daily walks. After I read that study showing people who walked at least 9,800 steps per day were 51% less likely to develop dementia, I made it a goal to hit 10,000 steps every single day. Having comfortable, supportive shoes makes all the difference when you're trying to hit those numbers consistently.”

“Can't live without my Apple Watch! I'm pretty obsessive about hitting 10,000 steps daily (as mentioned above). It actually drives me crazy on set when they take my watch away for filming and I see I've only taken like 200 steps… I immediately hit the treadmill to make up for it. Beyond steps, I track my runs, workouts, heart rate, sleep—everything. When you're traveling and filming as much as I do, having those consistent health metrics are really helpful.”

“I honestly eat these almost every day, especially when I'm filming or traveling. You never know what food options you'll have on set or on flights, so it's awesome having a healthy snack I can count on that's packed with protein and low in sugar.
My go-to while filming is actually Greek yogurt with a crumbled up Blueberry Almond Crunch MOSH on top—it's become my signature snack whether I'm on set or at home. We recently reformulated our bars too, loading them with great stuff like science-backed Cognizin® Citicoline, lion's mane, ashwagandha, omega-3s, and vitamins B12 and D3.
This brand is really personal to me. My mom and I created it after my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We worked with top brain health experts to perfect the formula, and they've got ingredients specifically chosen to support both physical and cognitive function.
I'm especially excited about our new vegan bars that just launched. We've got three incredible flavors: Hazelnut Chocolate Chip, Peanut Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Chip Cookie. It's awesome to finally have options for people following vegan diets who couldn't try MOSH before, without compromising on taste or the cognitive support that makes our bars unique.”

“I love these liquid drops for my hydration needs. The tiny dropper is way more convenient than powders—just a quick squeeze into any beverage and I'm set. They have no sugar, sweeteners, or flavors, so my drinks taste exactly the same. I keep bottles everywhere because proper hydration makes such a difference in my energy levels, workout recovery, and mental clarity throughout long days on set.”

“I've tried a ton of protein powders over the years, but Transparent Labs Grass-Fed Whey Protein has become one of my favorites. It's sourced from grass-fed cattle and there's no artificial sweeteners or fillers, just clean protein. What really sold me is how clean it tastes and mixes. I usually have it right after my workouts when my muscles need that protein boost most. Plus, protein isn't just about building muscle, your brain needs amino acids to function properly.”

“Skin health is a crucial part of wellness that guys often overlook. But sun damage adds up over time, and protecting your skin is one of the simplest anti-aging moves you can make. Sunscreen is non-negotiable with all the time I spend outdoors—it's as essential to my routine as staying hydrated or getting enough sleep. When filming The White Lotus, I relied on Supergoop's spray sunscreen. I could apply it quickly between takes and never felt that sticky, greasy feeling that comes with most sunscreens.”

“Mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise in my routine. When I'm not memorizing scripts, I'm totally hooked on Rummikub—it's actually super fun while giving my brain a real workout. My grandfather's Alzheimer's diagnosis made our family extremely conscious about brain health. Rummikub exercises pattern recognition, strategic thinking, and memory skills—all critical for maintaining cognitive function as we age. It's also a fun way to unplug from screens and connect with friends and family.”

“Getting quality sleep is crucial for my wellness routine, especially when I'm traveling a lot. A good eye mask has become essential because I'm constantly on planes or in hotel rooms where you can't control the lighting. Sleep is when your body and brain do most of their recovery work, so I never compromise on creating the perfect sleep environment.”
