Admittedly, supplements aren’t something that I have been super strict on in the past. Sure, I will take a multivitamin every time I remember, but I’ve never been someone who takes them religiously. Whether it’s because of a lack of understanding of their benefits or the simple act of remembering to take them, I’ve never been able to stick to a set routine. However, this is something I’m trying to change!
I’ve known about some of the benefits of Omega-3 from a young age (more on them below), but it’s something that I doubt I am getting enough of in my diet. While I consume salmon for dinner around once a week, toss walnuts on top of my salads, and add chia seeds to my smoothies, I could be doing more to incorporate the vital fatty acids.

A carbon-negative approach

To me, that’s a small price to pay for the plethora of benefits.
I’ve only been taking them for around a week, so I haven’t noticed a huge difference. However, one thing I have noticed is that my menstrual cramps are less painful than usual, and as someone who suffers from PCOS, this has been a blessing. My skin also looks more vibrant, too, and the only change I’ve made this past week is taking the Omega-3 supplements.
