There are some items of clothing that are totally acceptable to keep long term. Like that hoodie from college that somehow keeps getting softer after each wash. Or, the onesie your first born came home from the hospital in.
But, underwear and bras past their expiration date? Not so much.
After years of fierce loyalty to one brand, my top drawer had seen better days. I’m embarrassed to admit that my norm had become stretched-out waistbands, droopy straps, and faded fabrics that were hanging on by a thread (literally).
So when I kept hearing buzz about MeUndies and their famously soft and sustainable basics, I figured it was finally time to give my under garment wardrobe an upgrade.
With over 33 million pairs sold (and counting), MeUndies has built a loyal following. As someone who’s been clinging to “old faithfuls” for far too long, I needed to see what the hype was about. Could they really live up to the promise of all-day softness and finally replace my well-worn, all-time favorites?

The Undies That Finally Got It Right

Whenever I took steps to replace my favorite underwear and bras in the past, I felt like Goldilocks – none ever felt just right. Some had seams that annoyingly dug into my skin, others cost a small fortune only to lose their shape after two washes, and one promised “comfortable underwire” (for those wondering, that’s definitely not a thing).
When it comes to intimates, my non-negotiables are simple: comfort, quality that lasts, affordability, and that elusive confidence boost that comes from knowing you look good and feel good.
When I decided to test out MeUndies, I tried two of their bestsellers: UltraModal FeelFree Bikini ($22) and their All Over Lace Tanga ($29), a classic lace undie with a cheeky back. I was instantly impressed. The material conformed to my body like a second skin, and I even wore them through a game of soccer with my kids and pulling weeds in the yard – not once did I need to adjust or tug.
Beyond comfort, the UltraModal FeelFree Bikini is made from sustainably-sourced beechwood fibers that are breathable, super-soft, and static-resistant. The waistband lies flat without digging in like other brands I’ve tried (and then promptly sit in the bottom of my drawer never to see the light of day), and MeUndies’s commitment to low-impact dyes and fair working conditions makes me feel good about my investment. With inclusive sizing (XS–4XL) and 27 different prints and 17 different solids, there’s something for everyone.
Meanwhile, the All Over Lace Tanga brings a flirty twist to everyday comfort. It’s sheer, breathable, and delicate, all without being scratchy, offering that hard-to-find mix of sexy and wearable.
I’m the first to admit I’m very picky about my underwear (exhibit A: a drawer full of stretched-out “favorites” that I’m too stubborn to throw away). But both MeUndies styles that I tried exceeded expectations. They’re comfortable, sustainable, and confidence-boosting and for me, the perfect mix of function and feel-good energy that my intimate drawer has been missing.
The Bralettes Made for All-Day Wear
In addition to their line-up of buttery-soft undies, MeUndies also offers a variety of popular bralettes. After nursing two kids, anything with underwire is a hard no for me, which is why I gravitated towards the UltraModal FeelFree Ruched Bralette. This style comes in XS to 4XL and is offered in 31 different prints and 22 different solid colors.
Made with their signature MicroModal fabric, this bralette is the perfect style to sport around the house, during errands and for school drop-off. It has adjustable hook and eye closures and adjustable straps, though it’s worth noting that this specific style is unlined. MeUndies does have a couple of styles that offer removable padding like their plunge bralettes or the seamless bandeau bralette, which I will most definitely be trying next for a little more coverage.
Perks That Actually Make Sense
So many DTC brands offer loyalty points or perks that quite frankly, are more trouble than they’re worth. MeUndies gets it right. As a new customer, two things really stood out for me:
- First Pair Guarantee: You can wear it, wash it and live in your first pair for up to 45 days. If you’re not totally in love with your purchase, MeUndies will refund you with no questions asked and no returns required. This no-pressure policy is built for customers like me, and makes trying something new feel easy.
- Monthly Membership: Their subscription membership program is very practical and affordable. With so many limited-edition designs (Snowflakes! Penguins! Christmas llamas!), you can choose a product—underwear, bra, socks—and have it delivered monthly. Members also enjoy 30% off sitewide, which is especially meaningful if you have multiple family members (ah-hem, growing kids) to shop for. Plus, you get 50% off your first order!
These two programs feel less like a gimmicky marketing program and more like an upgrade built for real life.
A Wardrobe Refresh That Started with Me and Ended with My Whole Family

After trying so many different brands and being left disappointed, I’ll admit I was skeptical about MeUndies. But, nobody was more surprised than me to discover that MeUndies bralettes and undies were everything I’d be looking for – and more.
Beyond the obvious comfort factor, I love that the brand is sustainably made, size-inclusive, and thoughtfully designed in different cuts, colors and prints that actually doesn’t make me embarrassed to pick out what to wear that day. I only tried a few styles to start, but I already have my eye on the Seamless Plunge Bralette and their lounge joggers.
With over 90K five-star reviews and products for women, men and kids, it’s clear I’m not the only one who’s found their perfect fit. And while I was initially just hunting for a small wardrobe refresh, MeUndies might’ve sparked something bigger – a complete intimate wardrobe refresh for my entire family.
