The debloat market is hot right now. It feels like every time I log onto social media, I’m fed an ad about a new pill or powder that will immediately deflate me and reveal the truth that lies beneath: my washboard abs. As someone who’s dealt with her fair share of bloating and tummy issues over the last three decades, I can’t help but roll my eyes when I see these ads, because I know no magic potion’s going to change my body overnight.
Still, when the opportunity to try Arrae’s Bloat Gummies came by my desk, it was a quick yes. Sure, a product can’t change my body overnight, but it can help ease discomfort and make me feel a little less bloated – and that’s exactly what Arrae’s Bloat Gummies promise to do.
A Foray Into Arrae
Arrae has only been around for six years, but it’s already made quite a name for itself in the wellness scene. The brand was founded in 2020 by Siffat Haider and her husband, Nish Samantray, to provide holistic solutions for the array of health issues women deal with every day – including gut health, hormonal health, weight management, and more.
It was an immediate hit, with many women falling in love with the brand's simple, clean, and chic supplements. Because in the social media age, supplements can be chic. But Arrae’s appeal goes far beyond aesthetics – its formulas feature clinically studied ingredients that undergo identity, purity, and potency testing using methods such as FTIR and HPLC, alongside third-party testing of finished products.
This spring, the brand added a new product to its lineup: Bloat Gummies.
In a tasty peach-lemon flavor, these gummies offer a quick, easy, and yummy way to get some digestive relief in as little as one hour. Because of the gummy texture, the formula is a bit different than the brand's best-selling Bloat pills, but still aims to do the same thing: debloat.
Every serving (2 gummies) is loaded with organic ginger extract, dandelion root extract, lemon balm extract, and HT-ES1 postbiotic. While each ingredient has its own superpower, together they work to reduce bloating, puffiness, and stomach discomfort in the short term, and improve your gut health in the long term. Bloating manifests differently in everyone, and many can’t pinpoint the exact cause of their bloating, so Arrae’s multi-pronged approach covers all the bases. The targeted herbs relieve gas, support gut motility, and soothe discomfort; the clinically studied postbiotic improves gut health over time, and 5 grams of prebiotic fiber to support overall gut health.
We’re really just scratching the surface on the scientific stuff here, but if you’re anything like me, at this point you’re probably wondering: does it work?
Eating for the Cause
To test a debloating gummy, you need to be bloated, and I was up for the job. I love gluten, but it doesn’t always seem to love me back. Since it’s not an allergy or health concern for me, I don’t omit it from my diet. (How could I ever give up pizza, sourdough toast with butter, cacio e pepe…the list goes on and on.)
But when I do indulge in a gluten-heavy meal, the aftermath can take some of the enjoyment out of the experience. I usually end up very bloated, sometimes to the point of discomfort. Luckily, my Bloat Gummies showed up at my door the day of a dinner reservation with friends where I knew we would be feasting.
At dinner that night, I indulged in wine, pita, and hummus (oh yeah, chickpeas are another huge bloat source for me) to my heart’s content, knowing I had 2 gummies in my purse. I was pretty much immediately bloated and uncomfortable after dinner, marking the perfect time to take my gummies. They’re sweet, but not too sweet, with a refreshing zing of lemon and ginger.

As we went on to our next location, I took note of my bloat. Within an hour or so, while I was still feeling a bit bloated, my stomach was not uncomfortable, which is a win for me.
Over the next two weeks, I took the gummies anytime I had a heavy meal. Sometimes I felt they worked better than others, but I likely think this is attributed to all of the other lifestyle factors that make you bloated in the first place – what you’ve eaten, drank, and done in a day.
One of the most interesting effects I noticed didn’t have to do with bloating, but bowel movements. I feel like this is a safe space to share that after gluten-heavy meals, I usually am a bit constipated the next day. After taking the Bloat Gummies, I woke up and was completely regular. Now that is a great outcome.

Bloating, Bye
There are still some use cases I feel I need to try the Bloat Gummies – particularly on planes and when traveling to high-altitude places, which always messes with my stomach. But, in the meantime, I’m pretty happy to be stocked with these.
I love a dandelion or lemon balm tea to ease my stomach after a heavy meal, but that’s not always possible to find when you’re out at a restaurant. And while you can buy ginger and fiber supplements, it’s hard to find a product that packs such a punch in a small package. I appreciate that the Arrae Bloat Gummies are a convenient debloating solution that can easily fit into your routine.
These gummies won’t magically erase your waist or give you a 6-pack, but they will support your gut so you can enjoy your favorite foods with less discomfort and bloat.
