It’s not all that often that we fall hard for a product. But when we do, it generally follows this formula: a solution to a problem we actually have, plus a thoughtful design, and a price point that makes sense. Last month we tried Lectric’s XP4 eBike, and it quickly checked all three boxes. The brand has cracked the code on making eBikes practical, approachable, and reasonably affordable – and their latest launch proves it even further.
Meet the new XP Lite3, a lightweight, foldable eBike that's making the case for trading four wheels for two even more compelling. It's lighter, easier to store, and packed with thoughtful upgrades – all while starting at just $799.

The XP Lite3’s Bells & Whistles
The XP Lite3 is the third generation of Lectric's lightweight folding eBike, redesigned to make getting around (and storing your ride afterward) even easier. At just 49 pounds, it's lighter than the XP4, but still packs plenty of power: a top speed of 20 mph, up to 80 miles of range, and five pedal-assist modes.
The XP Lite3 comes equipped with a bright 3.5-inch full-color display, integrated rear turn signals, hydraulic brakes, and a twist throttle. There's also a redesigned frame for improved riding ergonomics, plus a new reinforced folding latch and quick-release pedals that make the bike even easier to store.

An eBike Designed for the Way You Live
What makes the XP Lite3 particularly interesting is how intentionally it's designed around the little inconveniences of eBike ownership. Living in an apartment without a garage? The bike folds down to fit into tighter spaces. Want to take it on a weekend getaway? It can fit in a trunk or RV without requiring a dedicated bike rack. Even the pedals can be removed quickly to make its storage footprint smaller.
Lectric is also introducing a Gates Carbon Belt Drive option for riders who want a cleaner, lower-maintenance alternative to a traditional chain. And for anyone who’s particular about aesthetics, the new lineup includes shades like Matte Lavender, Blue Mist, and Ballerina Pink.

The Bottom Line
We were sold on Lectric after testing the XP4, and the XP Lite3 takes things further. Without trying to reinvent the wheel, it offers a thoughtful combination of practical features, smart design, and a price point that's hard to argue with. Whether you're an everyday commuter or just looking for an excuse to get out of the car more often, this launch is absolutely worth keeping on your radar.
