Our Place’s Always Pan is pretty iconic when it comes to kitchen essentials. Since its launch three years ago, it’s sold out 30 times and garnered a waitlist of 60,000. Now, it’s back and better than ever thanks to materials like Thermakind, the brand’s ceramic nonstick coating that’s made without lead, cadmium or potentially toxic materials including PTFE, PFOA, and other “Forever Chemicals.” Instead, it’s made of silica (a sand derivative), water and alcohol. Plus, its core is now made from 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum that’s certified to RCS standards by an independent third party. Always Iconic

One of our favorite parts of the Always Pan has always been its stunning silhouette and design-forward colors, so we’re thrilled to see that the 2.0 version still boasts the same aesthetic and functionality. It’s honestly hard to detect the differences between the 1.0 and 2.0 based on looks alone, so we’ll give you a peek under the hood to see how it differs on a molecular level…

It Lasts 50% Longer

The Always Pan 2.0’s exclusive Thermakind non-stick ceramic coating now lasts 50% longer than the 1.0’s non-stick coating. What’s better? It’s non-toxic and made from materials like sand derivative, water and alcohol. It’s made without lead, cadmium or potentially toxic materials including PTFE, PFOA, and other “Forever Chemicals,” that don’t break down easily in the environment or in the human body. The 2.0 also meets the highest testing and food safety standards, and it’s been certified by third party testing labs as conforming to food contact standards set by the FDA and the LFGB. It also meets Prop65 requirements. Did we mention its surface has a nice little shimmer, too?

It’s Made With Post Consumer Recycled Materials

Our Place takes its sustainability initiative to the next level by creating the 2.0’s aluminum core with post-consumer recycled materials. The 2.0's aluminum is certified to RCS standards by an independent third party that has operated for over 20 years and is currently active in over 70 countries worldwide. Not only is Our Place’s supply chain monitored, but each individual PO and shipment is certified to ensure the highest standards. Made from used soda cans, this pan is literal trash, and it's also 3x more heat conductive than stainless steel!

It’s Oven Safe Up To 450 Degrees

One of our only gripes about the 1.0 was that it couldn’t be used in the oven – thankfully, the 2.0 is oven safe up to 450 degrees. We’ve been thrilled to dive back into our favorite recipe books and get cooking on those delicious stovetop-to-oven recipes we’ve had dog-eared for years.
