When it comes to body hair removal, I’m a bit of a professional. Bye Bye, Body Hair

The Flasher 2.0 promises a reduction in hair in any body area – including underarms, legs, face, and the bikini  area – within 6-8 weeks of consistent use. It taps into the power of intense pulsed light therapy, which delivers multiple wavelengths, to effectively treat large areas of the body. If this sounds painful, it’s not (more on that below), but it does work incredibly well: I’ve been using it twice a week for 6 weeks, and I now go several days without shaving. So far, I’ve experienced very little stubble on my armpits and legs, and I've finally waved goodbye to those pesky in-grown hairs in the bikini area.

An Affordable Salon Alternative ‍

The Flasher 2.0’s $189 price tag is a huge selling point. It pains me to think about the thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars I’ve spent on razors and salon appointments over the past 10 years. The only upside is knowing: 1. I’ve finally found a legitimate solution, and 2. That I’m hopefully saving you some big bucks (you’re welcome).

Gentle On Skin‍

You may be wondering how exactly the device works. Start by consulting this Fitzpatrick skin chart to determine if your skin and hair type are right for the device. Then, conduct a skin safety test, which includes using it on a small area over the course of several days. Once your test has been successful, you’re in the clear to flash away: prep your skin, shave the area you wish to treat, then move The Flasher slowly across your skin twice (this takes approximately 5-10 minutes depending on treatment area). It’s so easy and doesn’t hurt at all. My only recommendation is to wear sunglasses while you do it to protect your eyes!

FDA-Cleared Confidence

Best of all, Nood’s IPL technology is FDA-cleared and safe to use. I did some extra digging for peace of mind and found that a board-reviewed clinical trial of twenty-two female patients found 78% hair reduction after one month of regular treatments. More importantly in my mind, there were no serious adverse events reported. I know it’s a small number of patients observed, but no adverse events is a great sign! Soft skin is important to me, sure, but healthy skin is more important – thankfully, I now enjoy both with The Flasher 2.0.
