The news has been rife with wildfires lately, and it’s hard not to feel troubled. Weather-related news – and wildfire news especially – can make you feel extremely helpless. My family has struggled with everything from burning eyes to coughing as a result of poor air quality from all of the smoke, so we set out on the hunt for a purifier to clean up the air in our home. We went with Molekule’s Air Pro, which auto-senses changes in our home’s air quality and makes adjustments without us ever having to click a single button. Plus, it’s great for pollen, general city air funk and more, so we expect to use it all year long. Find out why we’re so gung ho on our Air Pro below…

It’s Wildfire Season

During wildfire season – which runs from June through October – air is often polluted with harmful particles and pollutants that can lead to respiratory problems and allergies. Whether you live on the east or west coast, you’ve likely experienced some of these issues this year. Officials recommend staying inside when the air quality is especially harmful, but it’s possible that some smoke can make its way indoors, too. One of the best ways to keep wildfire pollutants from building up to unhealthy levels in your home is by using an air purifier.

Clean Indoor Air Matters, Too

Molekule’s founder spent over two decades developing and testing the brand’s photo electrochemical oxidation (PECO) technology before founding the brand. I’ll spare you the super hard science (mainly because I don’t fully understand it myself), but that basically means that Molekule’s air purifiers destroy the widest range of pollutants compared to traditional air purifiers. While most purifiers simply capture all of the funky pollutants in your air, the Air Pro captures them and then goes so far as to actually destroy them before dispersing clean air back into your space.

The Proof Is In The Purifiers

This June, as New York experienced dense wildfire smoke as a result of fires in Canada, Molekule captured some pretty compelling data. The brand compared the air quality of the city with the air quality in some of its users’ homes – and I’ll let this graph speak for itself. What’s better is that the Air Pro isn’t just an investment for wildfire season – it works on pollen, dust, bacteria, viruses, and even mold. While it’s been a huge hit this summer, it will also be valuable during those sickly winter months when our littles are constantly picking up new viruses and even into allergy season come spring.

It’s As Easy As…

One of the best parts is that while it solves a big issue, the Air Pro is incredibly easy to use. Simply unbox it, plug it in, and voila! If you want nitty gritty details, you can download the companion app and keep track of things like your air history, what pollutants it finds, and daily air quality rankings. Or, if you don’t feel like keeping up with another app, you can check out the display screen on the device itself. Depending on what setting you choose, it’s really quiet – and it looks pretty sleek, too. Plus, it auto-senses what’s going on in your home and adjusts accordingly – so you can enjoy cleaner air without ever having to lift a finger.
