Trying to pin March to one seasonal moment is tricky when our readership is split between coasts. The reality is, out east, March is a fragile, hopeful pre-spring moment after a trying winter. And in Los Angeles, I’m staring out a sunny window after weeks of 80 degree heat. Not to brag.
Either way, March is known as a transitional month, and we’ve programmed it accordingly. This month at TQE, we’re leaning into pre-spring promises:
- How to travel and pack for the in-between season
- The best spring toddler activities to get everyone outside again
- Brand reviews from Lilysilk, BaBaa, and more to help you ease from winter layers into lighter days
And then, we’re getting competitive in the spirit of beloved March Madness, TQE style, of course. We’re on the hunt for the ultimate lip combo, and we’re inviting you to partake:
Step 1: If you aren’t already, follow us on Instagram and TikTok.
Step 2: During the first week of March, we’ll post polls and videos asking you to submit and vote for your favorite lip products — stains, sticks, glosses. We want it all.
Step 3: We’ll narrow it down to the top four lipsticks/stains and top four glosses to create our official TQE bracket.
Step 4: Over the next three weeks, we’ll test, review, and document everything — shade range, stickiness (or lack thereof), color payoff, longevity — in a video series across social.
Your job is simple: follow along, vote, and help us crown the ultimate lipstick + gloss combo. Because while March may not look the same everywhere, we all need a great lip stepping into April…
