Milk_shake was kind enough to share various products with me, each one tailored to something I struggle with in terms of treating my hair right. I first was drawn to their Curl Passion Shampoo ($25) & Conditioner ($27) – I thought I would start by focusing on how to define and moisturize my curls. These paraben free products cleanse and condition all hair types, but specifically curly hair, gently and deeply, leaving your hair feeling soft and bouncy. The conditioner is great as it detangles my hair enough for me to brush through it pain-free, but it doesn’t weigh down my hair or flatten my curls. With ingredients like organic pracaxi and babassu oils, these curl passion creations give me flexible and long-lasting curls.
Another thing I struggle with is lack of volume in my hair, especially near the roots. I came across milk_shake’s Volumizing Shampoo ($23) & Conditioner ($23), which provide softness and fullness without weighing the hair down. I really liked pairing these two with a leave-in conditioner after my shower, and let me tell you, my hair completely came to life. Both the shampoo and the conditioner cleanse the hair gently with a special formula containing precious sugar derivatives that transform and give a natural volume look to all hair types.
Lastly, I was very excited to try out the Integrity Nourishing Shampoo ($26) & Conditioner ($26), to help treat my frizz. It’s really difficult to find products that eliminate frizz whilst still keeping your curls defined, but these ones do it all! With their paraben and sulfate-free formulas, these two gems contain organic murumuru butter to help cleanse hair gently and maintain hair color, while eliminating frizz and leaving hair feeling soft and radiant.
The fragrances, although different in each product, smell divine and the shampoos and conditioners really complement each other as well.
