Pistils Nursery, a nursery founded ten years ago in Portland, makes easy-to-mount Philodendron Cork Mounts to order. The company uses vining topicals and sphagnum moss on natural cork to create the natural and earthy look of its mounts, which are fitted with a hook to make installation in your home fast and simple. The Assorted Philodendron Cork Mount, specifically, is usually made with Philodendron hederaceum, P. ‘Brasil’ or P. ‘Lemon Lime,’ which are selected for their tendency to cascade down as they grow. These mounts also require very minimal care and thrive in medium to bright, indirect light. When the soil at the base of your mount starts to feel as if it has almost no moisture left, submerge the entire mount in room temperature water until it’s fully saturated. If you’re looking for a fuller look, clip back long vines to train a bushier growing pattern.

The most intimidating thing about buying a plant hanger is the prospect of having to actually install it. I might have a green thumb, but my home upgrading abilities basically stop there. This is why I love The Sill’s Wall Plant Hanger. Its wall hooks are incredibly easy to mount, and the site’s instructions involve only four simple steps. Aside from being easy to install, this hanger’s minimalistic design will lend a feeling of elegance to your plant display. Its seven-inch hook is made from oak, the cotton thread measures 19 inches, and you’ll be able to hang a planter that’s three inches or larger and that weighs no more than nine pounds.

Let the Tortuga Modern Terrazzo Platform Planters from Food52 be the building blocks of your growing indoor garden. Made from weather-friendly concrete and natural stone terrazzo, these are designed by the Light + Ladder studio founder, Farrah Sit, who drew from the geometric shapes of Bauhaus architecture. The most fun thing you can do with these is collect as many as you want, in various sizes and colors, and fit them together like puzzle pieces to create a unique indoor (or outdoor) landscape of your beloved plants.

Sage & Sill’s Halo Metal Hanging Planter comes in two shapes—round or oblong—and five different colors. It’s made from durable iron and then coated in a high-temperature paint to give it a smooth, matte finish. This is one of our favorites because of how it acts as a floating frame for your plant and provides a little extra support for any leaves or branches that spill over outside the pot. (Take note that you’ll have to source a hook from which to hang the planter yourself.) The item’s page is a fun place to look through if you’re looking for that last little push to convince you that this is the planter for you.

Rooted is a New York-based plant company that got its start in 2018 by throwing “plant parties” and personally delivering plants to its customers. Its founders, who moved to the city from California and Hawaii, believe in the positive mental, emotional, and physical health benefits that having greenery in your home can provide and are passionate about showcasing plants in beautiful and fun ways. Its ceramic face planters are designed and made in Monterrey, Mexico, and we especially love the Gordita Ceramic Face Planter for the sass and humor it’ll add to any room.
