The surest sign that spring has arrived comes in the form of our favorite sneakers. Cariuma’s Spring 2023 Pantone collaboration is a nod to the start of a new season: French Oak is the soft and simple shade of spring; Withered Rose welcomes the blossoming flowers; Tapestry offers a dip into gorgeous indigo waters. Each color is available in Cariuma’s best-selling OCA-Low style, which recently had a waitlist of 77,000 people.
This collaboration is one of many installments with Pantone. Late last year, Cariuma dropped a Viva Magenta colorway in six of its most popular styles. 2023 was the fourth year that Cariuma was tapped as a Pantone partner – in 2020, Cariuma sold out its Classic Blue Color Of The Year 2020, a pattern it repeated in 2021 with Ultimate Gray and Illuminating and 2022’s Very Peri drop.
Cariuma’s OCA-Low sneakers are known for their cloud-like comfort and conscious craftsmanship. Made from natural rubber, organic cotton, and recycled plastics, the OCA Low boasts Cariuma’s signature vegan memory foam insole made from cork, bio memory foam and organic mamona oil. Their classic-cool style deems them appropriate for everything from a travel day to a night on the town.
Cariuma’s connection to the environment and focus on sustainability runs deep – For every pair of shoes sold, Cariuma plants two trees in an effort to support the reforestation of the Brazilian rainforest. The brand is committed to planting some of these trees in indigenous land to enhance indigenous culture and knowledge. Around 70 indigenous people (Guarani people and Tupiniquim people) work with Cariuma’s reforestation program.
